Brought
my family for a roti canai breakfast at one of the mamak restaurants
downstairs, ordered two glasses of teh tarik to be shared among four of us (???)
and head to the boulevard for a few cups of FREE brewed coffees! How did that
sound? What’s more, we had a window shopping stroll at one of the most tendy
shopping mall in town and ended up spending a wholesome four hours of quality
time with my family.

Merdeka in Malaysia
Merdeka means Independence in the Malay language. Malaysia
gained its Independence from the British on the 31st of August 1957.
This year also marked the 57th anniversary of our ‘Merdeka’, so the
number 57 is very significant to the patriotic Malaysians for this particular
year.
